Mission, Vision and Objectives of the Friends of the Thunder Bay Conservatory

MISSION STATEMENT:

We will promote and educate our community in the stewardship of our natural environment through the growth, appreciation and preservation of the Conservatory's collections and activities.

VISION:

We will inspire the community to enjoy the beauty, tranquillity and opportunities that the Thunder Bay Conservatory has to offer.

  1. To facilitate a variety of educational activities.
  2. To encourage public participation.
  3. To celebrate the Conservatory's heritage.
  4. To promote the enhancement and continued growth of the Conservatory.
  5. To advocate for environmental stewardship, protection, conservation and interaction with natural sustainable practices.
  6. To promote the natural therapeutic benefits of the Conservatory for the health and well-being of the community.
